Dunkin' Donuts and the Mystery of the Disappearing Customer!

Sorry everyone, but there hasn't really been anything interesting or even remotely worth posting. However, here is a little anecdote for you.

Last night, about 2 minutes before 9 (closing time) a man came into Dunkin Donuts and told Josh (the person i was working with) that he would like three sandwiches and a coffee. While Josh was making the sandwiches i was going to ring him out on the register. Then he tells me that his girlfriend will be in in a minute to order something too. (I guess he was really hungry and wanted three sandwiches to himself.) His girlfriend took forever to come in and soon after the guy said he would be right back. I was like "OK?" because it was after 9 and we were technically closed.

I began to start stocking some things while i waited, and waited and waited some more. I communicated with josh using the headset that the guy was taking for ever and i was going outside to have a look.

Well, i got outside to see two cars in the parking lot. Mine and Josh's. There was no other car in sight. The guy and his "girlfriend" had vanished!

Creepy huh????
