I worked 4am-10am today and i was the baker. I must say i did an ok job. I was a little slow though, cause it was my first time but no harm done.
I baked muffins, bagels and croissants. I wasn't at the store by myself, the assistant manager was there to help me if i needed it. I did have to ask her some questions; mostly about which muffins were which. When they're in the little muffin cup things they all are the same color for the most part. The ones that are in the labeled boxes are easy obviously but the ones that are already out are tricky.
It was tough trying to remember what toppings go on what bagels and what goes on the muffins. I did forget to put a slice of cheddar cheese on the low-carb bagels so i had to chuck them and make new ones. I also didn't cook the coffee cake muffins long enough so they kind of caved in. oops, i just realized i didn't cook any cookies today! lol, oh well.
Well, according to my boss, the assistant manager and other bakers i did a pretty good job so i guess they'll keep me! :)
The hardest part is over with but i'm baking again tomorrow so anything is possible!! :)

Sounds like there is an awful lot to remember at 4:30 in the morning. Great job tho. Guess we can expect a 7 course meal from you in the near future?
